Black Star Interior solutions is a young company, newly formed in 2020 but has been years in the making. The journey of Phil the MD is inspiring and humbling which has galvanised his ethics and passion and should provide reassurance as you consider Black Star Interior solutions to improve and enhance your home.
Phil has 15 years’ experience in the building trade but his true passion for making a difference in people’s lives and creating a beautiful home comes from his childhood. Phil was brought up in the care system, moved from pillar to post from an early age, never belonging and never having a place he could call home. Home became an aspiration and passion, to create for himself and his family and for others.
Whilst many of those which Phil grew up with succumbed to the challenges of their environment Phil was different. He aspired and knew that hard work was needed to underpin those dreams and make them a reality. He was fortunate to find a job as a labourer on a building site. His inquisitive nature and hard work opened an opportunity as a plasterer’s apprentice. After serving his time and learning his trade Phil went self-employed and was incredibly successful. During those years he saw the good, the bad and the ugly of the building trade and began to formulate a business model that solved the problems of many of his customers that felt under served by the building trade.
Black Star Interior solutions is his response to the frustrations, concerns and fears of customers that he has seen over the yeas and who want to transform their home but who have concerns around affordability, quality, commitment, timeliness and cleanliness.
